Spiral Vibration Damper For Fiber Cables
Spiral vibration dampers limit and reduce the impact caused to fragile outdoor electrical structures from the motion produced during harsh weather. They also help to increase their long-term resilience.
Made from waterproof PVC, the spiral vibration damper is the ideal solution to ensure affordable and lasting protection for various outdoor telecommunications systems, and minimising the long-term damage to exposed wires and cables.
Its clever coil design ensures a more effective shielding against vibrational impact, and also encourages a maximum degree of even energy dissipation throughout.
Its unique spiral-shaped interior damping section also allows for a secure grip, whilst its elegant and slender shape allows it to blend in effortlessly once fixed in place.
This type of damper is especially effective for overhead shield wires, optical ground wires (OPGW), and delicate cables and conductors up to 0.75” in diameter.
